The Bioanalytics group established a HPLC- and GC-based technology platform enhanced by mass spectrometry enabling the qualitative and quantitative analysis of biomolecules. This includes targeted and untargeted metabolite profiling.

Proteomics platform

Within the Central project Z1 of the SFB796 a Proteomics lab is currently being established on the premises of the Biochemistry division. Identification and analysis of proteins and protein complexes with their post-translational modifications will be possible with state-of-the-art MS-based instruments.

In our Biocomputing Lab we perform a wide range of bioinformatics pipelines for OMICS, integrating massive transcriptomics and genomics sequencing data with metabolomics, proteomics and phenomics data.
